Hi, I’m Jenny
I founded Equaluna from the ashes of my own loss.
I was born in Australia, a mother, a daughter, and shaped by the beauty and brutality of life. I’ve known the sting of loss, the ache of starting over, and the quiet courage it takes to walk through grief and trauma.
In the last two years, I’ve lost my mother to cancer, lost family members and friends, divorced, faced a health crisis, lost my home in the Pacific Palisades fires, and lost a sense of self. Nearly everything I knew fell away.
Horses became my refuge. In their stillness, I found a way to listen beneath the noise of grief, to feel the ground under me again, and to remember a deeper rhythm of being. That journey grew into helping others navigate their loss, transition, and reinvention.
Since 2019, I’ve partnered with horses as co-facilitators in the healing process. I’m a certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator (EALF) and am currently completing the TRH Master Equine Program. My earlier career spanned continents - from leading global campaigns for Women for Women International with partners like Google and UN Women to curating transformative experiences in luxury travel, philanthropy, and sustainability. I hold a B.A. in Communications and Classics from New York University, with certifications in philanthropy and entrepreneurship from Harvard.
Today, I bring the same vision, dedication, and ability to connect worlds into the realm of equine-guided empowerment, bridging science and soul through the quiet presence of the herd.
